Well, I have a blog (if you could even call it that) with another site, and it's also Scraps of Thought. I had that one first, and I couldn't think of anything better when I made this blog. But it really fits, because everything I write on this blog is a scrap from my thoughts, or stems from a scrap of my thoughts. And I believe that in putting together all the scraps I post here you get a picture of me, like you get a picture when you put together a puzzle. Granted, it's a picture--not a video or a relationship--so you only get one full side of me; there are different angles you only get glimpses of through this blog.
As for the URL, scrapsofthought and scrapsofme were already taken, so I settled on scrapsofgeorgia 'cause, guess what! I'm Georgia, and these are my scraps.
